In an interview published on Aviation Week, Anca Mihalache, CEO of Aero Care, discusses the challenges in the aviation aftermarket supply chain.

She notes it’s a seller’s market with high demand and limited availability of airframes and engines, driving prices above pre-COVID levels.

Aero Care keeps high-demand parts in stock through teardowns and exchanges, and relies on deep industry knowledge to forecast demand. She anticipates a market rebalance post-autumn, with potential disruptions due to OEMs focusing on newer engines.

Myles Corey, founder of Spaero, simplifies: “To tackle supply chain issues, we need to innovate and work together better. By making it easier to get parts and being transparent, we can make things run smoother and build trust in the industry.”
