Jet2.com expands European destination routes with two new UK connections

Jet2.com and Jet2Citybreaks are expanding their winter schedule for 2025/26, adding two new routes to Budapest from East Midlands Airport (EMA) and Newcastle Airport (NCL). The new flights will offer more affordable city breaks, operating twice weekly – East Midlands flights on Mondays and Fridays from October 10, 2025, to April 27, 2026, and Newcastle flights on Thursdays and Sundays from October 9, 2025, to April 27, 2026.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, highlighted Budapest’s growing popularity, saying: “In response to the demand that we are seeing from customers and independent travel agents, we are absolutely delighted to be giving holidaymakers across the East Midlands and North East the chance to experience everything Budapest has to offer.”

This expansion brings Jet2’s Budapest connections to six UK airports, reinforcing its commitment to offering diverse travel options.
