British Airways shares major success of ‘game-changing’ AI solutions

British Airways’ investment in “game-changing” AI tools and operational resilience has led to a sharp improvement of their on-time performance, helping them to achieve the best results in the airline’s history in the first quarter of 2025.

BA’s move to modernise legacy systems and proactively manage disruptions marks a pivotal shift in how major carriers approach operational complexity. Tools now in use at the airline can reroute aircraft around bad weather or assign gates based on passengers’ onward connections.
